“I firmly believe that if we have ‘mysterious powers’ – if we know how something sacred works – we are obligated to share what we know. Knowledge is power and power is never diminished by sharing it – it is only increased.”
– Brene Brown
Here at the Healthy Humans Project, we believe that relationships are sacred. We have learned so much through schooling, research, and personal experience about how to nourish our relationships and help them to thrive. Our goal is to always continue learning, and to share that knowledge with you!
To align with our mission, we hope to promote the following:
Connection
We want you to feel empowered and able to develop real lasting connections in your relationships! We want you to feel empowered and able to meaningfully connect with the people and the world around you. In order to accomplish this, we focus on five common relationships:
Relationship with Self
Relationship with Partner/Spouse
Relationship with Children
Relationship with Community
Relationship with God/Higher Power
Community
We want you as the followers of HHP to feel like you are a part of something bigger than yourselves. We want you to build a relationship with us and also with each other by engaging with our material, asking questions, and in sharing what you learn from HHP! We also invite you to get involved in connecting with and bettering the physical community around you.
Culture
We want to promote and develop a culture of learning, respect, reliable research, positivity, empathy, and growth with everything that we share and post. We want The Healthy Humans Project not just to be a business, but a lifestyle.
It’s Up To You…
We are committed to providing you with tools and information, but it’s up to you to take what you learn and apply it! Everything that we share will focus on how you can set yourself up for success in your relationships. As you take it all in, we recommend that you take the information that we offer and think about it! Each individual, each relationship, each life is different, and so not everything that we discuss will apply to you. Reflect on what we share, and apply the information that will be most useful to you. Check out our personal practice recommendations at the end of each post to help you with application ideas!
If you have questions or comments, send them our way! We would love to hear your feedback, and we are always looking to improve.
